Kevin Field

Hello - I'd like to tell you a little bit about me.  I'm the person who has put together fieldMEDIA.  I've worked in the radio and events industry for many years.  It's enabled me to pick up some useful skills along the way.

I'm best best described as a versatile and multi-skilled presenter, producer, script writer.  I can also boast a great deal of knowledge when it comes to event management.  I think I've switched every Christmas light on in Kent, not individually you understand.

My radio knowledge includes radio broadcast codes of conduct, experience as presenter of CH, AC and Hot AC formats.  I also have in depth knowledge of breakfast radio, outside broadcasts and roadshows.

As a marketer, I've had the pleasure of being responsible for major station promotions to brand launches.  I've also held several management positions within marketing & programming in radio.

My CV includes the successful launch of CTR 105.6, a radio station broadcasting to Maidstone and mid-Kent (now kmfm), and the successful re-brand of 3 Kent stations in east Kent to KM-fm. 

At Fox FM in Oxford, I had three jobs, Station Producer, Assistant to the PC and Breakfast Producer for the rather good Carl Carter and Jo Thoenes in The Morning.  Carl is now a comedy writer and Jo presents the afternoon show on BBC Oxford.

As for me, I work in radio as a freelance presenter, producer and writer.  In addition I am a media and event consultant with fieldMEDIA.  We work with like-minded companies to provide quality services.  We also have a few products that are produced in house that I oversee.

Outside of radio I get involved in many interesting projects from product launches to major event management, Podcast projects, Training and others.  I'm also a member of a group of people who look for new ideas and launch them as new products.

Oh and this is new - I've also just started writing comedy sketches - watch this space for more info.

I'm an Everton fan, and try to see them play at-least four times a season.  I read all the time, factual based book are my thing. I love riding my mountain bike, I'm into art, I'm a qualified artist - whatever that means,  and like anyone I enjoy spending time with friends, family.
